Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead and manage our information technology operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to oversee a team while ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable technology solutions for the organization. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining our technology infrastructure, implementing new systems, and driving innovation to support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

IT Strategy and Planning

Develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals.
Plan and execute technology initiatives, ensuring they meet current and future business requirements.
Stay updated on the latest IT trends and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
Network and Systems Management

Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of the companyโ€™s network, servers, and IT systems.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and provide timely solutions.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols.
Team Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Set performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and support team membersโ€™ professional growth.
Manage IT staff workload and delegate tasks to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Technical Support and User Training

Provide hands-on support to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Implement user training programs to enhance technological literacy and efficiency.
Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for resolving IT support requests.
Budgeting and Vendor Management

Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strategic allocation of resources.
Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party solutions.
Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and cloud solutions that align with business needs.
Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and company policies.
Identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement safeguards to mitigate risks.
Conduct regular audits of IT systems and practices to ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT management, with expertise in network administration, systems management, and team leadership.
Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Masterโ€™s preferred).
Skills:
Proficient in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity practices.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and network protocols.
Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and IT compliance requirements.
Preferred:

Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or ITIL.
Experience with digital transformation and implementation of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
