Director of IT

Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of IT. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our information technology infrastructure and operations, driving the strategic direction of our IT initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions. The Director of IT will play a critical role in shaping the future of our IT organization and supporting the company’s growth and innovation objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the strategic IT roadmap in alignment with the company’s business objectives and growth initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation, optimization, and digital transformation.
IT Governance: Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in information security, data privacy, and IT risk management.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms, to support business operations and enable scalability, reliability, and performance.
Application Management: Manage the deployment, integration, and maintenance of business-critical applications and software systems, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive efficiency and maximize value.
Cybersecurity: Lead the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity strategies and controls to protect the company’s information assets, mitigate cyber threats, and ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
IT Operations: Provide leadership and direction to the IT operations team, overseeing day-to-day activities, incident response, and service delivery to meet SLAs and support business continuity and disaster recovery objectives.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners, negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring alignment with business requirements and service level agreements.
Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to support career growth and talent retention.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving IT strategy, managing complex IT projects, and delivering business value in a Fortune 500 or equivalent enterprise environment.
Strong technical expertise across a broad range of IT domains, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive change, and achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO 27001, as well as emerging technologies and trends shaping the IT landscape.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
