Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Account Manager to join our team. This role is critical in fostering strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to expand our services. The ideal candidate will have a background in professional services, with cybersecurity or managed security services (MSS) experience being a significant plus. A willingness to learn all aspects of our business, from service offerings to operational processes, is essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow relationships with assigned clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters.
• Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
• Understand client needs and objectives, providing tailored recommendations for cybersecurity solutions and services.
• Build and manage a healthy, 3X sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
• Think like a business owner, taking full responsibility for account management and client success.
• Operate mostly independently, knowing when and how to leverage internal support resources to achieve client objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns, oversee service delivery, and ensure high-quality results.
• Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services, contributing to revenue growth.
• Prepare and deliver regular account reviews, including performance metrics and strategic recommendations.
• Assist in the development of proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably within professional services.
• Experience in managed security services (MSS) or the cybersecurity industry is a strong plus.
• Skilled at managing a full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, quoting, proposing, closing, and transitioning.
• Exceptional client service and consulting skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Experience selling to State, Local, and Education (SLED) clients would be a plus but is not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
• Proven ability to build and manage a healthy, sales pipeline to support revenue growth goals.
• A results-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to think like a business owner and work independently, while knowing when and how to use internal resources.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
