Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a results-driven and visionary Vice President of Sales to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity sales, a deep understanding of the industry, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams. As a member of the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the companyโ€™s growth strategy and ensuring its success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to drive business growth.
Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with the executive team to define and refine the companyโ€™s go-to-market strategy.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
Provide input on product development and positioning based on market feedback.
Operational Excellence:

Implement scalable sales processes, tools, and metrics to optimize team performance.
Manage the sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and report on progress to the CEO and board.
Drive alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Client Engagement:

Serve as a trusted advisor to key enterprise clients, understanding their cybersecurity challenges and aligning solutions to meet their needs.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements to enhance visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
Experience:

10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the cybersecurity industry.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth in enterprise and mid-market segments.
Proven ability to close complex, high-value deals with Fortune 500 companies.
Leadership Skills:

Strong track record of building and scaling sales teams, with a focus on team development and retention.
Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve and surpass goals.
Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of cybersecurity products, services, and market trends.
Familiarity with technologies such as network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
Education:

Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
