Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our talented engineering team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the automotive industry, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for our cutting-edge vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design: Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of mechanical systems and components for automotive applications, including chassis, powertrain, suspension, and HVAC systems.
Engineering Analysis: Conduct comprehensive engineering analysis and simulations to evaluate mechanical designs, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Prototype Development: Oversee the fabrication and testing of prototypes to validate mechanical designs, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement design improvements for enhanced functionality and reliability.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into vehicle platforms and support the successful launch of new products.
Project Management: Manage engineering projects from concept to production, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, while adhering to project timelines and quality objectives.
Supplier Management: Partner with external suppliers and vendors to source components, materials, and technologies, ensuring alignment with quality standards, cost objectives, and delivery timelines.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices, leveraging lessons learned and feedback from product development cycles to optimize design efficiency and performance.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and performance metrics, to support product development, regulatory compliance, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within the automotive industry, with a focus on design and development.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
Strong understanding of automotive engineering principles, including vehicle dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
Demonstrated track record of leading complex engineering projects from concept to production, with a passion for driving innovation and excellence.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations, including ISO/TS 16949 and APQP, is preferred.
